Privacy Policy

    Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data Beresol collects when you use beresol.eu, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. Beresol BV, registered in the Netherlands, is the data controller. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@beresol.eu.

    Who we are

Beresol BV is a software company founded by Victor Solé Ferioli. We build EU policy intelligence tools and provide GovTech, AI integration and discoverability, GIS and web development services. For anything relating to your personal data, the controller is Beresol BV and the contact point is hello@beresol.eu.

    What data we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We collect:

    • Information you choose to send us, for example when you email us, request a review or complete a feedback form. This typically includes your name, email address and the content of your message.
    • Usage and device data collected automatically when you visit the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, and how you interact with pages. This is described in the analytics section below and only applies once you accept cookies.

    Analytics and behavioural tools

To understand how visitors use beresol.eu so we can improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity and, where applicable, Microsoft Advertising. Clarity captures behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replay using first and third-party cookies and similar technologies. Sensitive input fields are masked by default and are not recorded.

These tools load only after you accept cookies through our cookie banner. If you decline, they are not loaded. Microsoft may use the data it collects as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We also use Google services on some pages (including advertising via Google), which may set their own cookies. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.

    Cookies and consent

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We use a small number of essential items to make the site work and remember your language and cookie choice, and, only with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies as described above.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets the banner.

    Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies and tools; our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the site; and, where you contact us, the steps needed to respond to your request.

    How long we keep data

We keep the content of messages you send us only for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up. Analytics data is retained by Microsoft Clarity in line with its own retention periods and is used only in aggregate to understand and improve the site.

    Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, acting on our instructions, including Microsoft (Clarity and advertising), Google (advertising and related services) and our hosting provider. Each processes data under its own terms and applicable data-protection safeguards.

    International transfers

Some of our providers, such as Microsoft and Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

    Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

    • Access the personal data we hold about you and ask for a copy.
    • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
    • Ask us to erase your data, or to restrict or object to our use of it.
    • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
    • Receive your data in a portable format where that applies.
    • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in the Netherlands the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

    How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about this policy, email us at hello@beresol.eu. We will respond within the time limits set by the GDPR.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page.

We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience and analyse site traffic. By clicking "Accept", you consent to our use of cookies. See our Privacy Policy.
