Authentication
Pass your key as a bearer token on every request. Requests without a valid key return401; an inactive key returns 403; exceeding a per-key daily quota returns429.

Why can't I just ask a general AI model about EU law directly?
General AI models are trained on a static snapshot, so they are confidently wrong on live EU law, current procedure status and deadlines, and who is moving a given file. Beresol's API and MCP give an assistant the dense, current, machine-readable EU corpus, so its answers are grounded in official sources rather than memory. That is the difference between guessing and knowing.
What is the Beresol Monitor API?
The Beresol Monitor API exposes the underlying data behind the Beresol intelligence monitors as key-protected JSON endpoints. It serves structured feeds for programmatic and agent use, so you can build dashboards, briefings, newsletters and alerts on top of the same data that powers the public monitor dashboards. Every monitor returns the same four fields: body_txt, body_html, public_url and created_date, refreshed daily.
Can I use this inside Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Mistral?
Yes. Two Model Context Protocol servers are available. The Brubru EU Data MCP, at https://brubru.beresol.eu/mcp, gives an assistant the full EU regulatory corpus. The Beresol Monitors MCP, at https://beresol.eu/api/mcp/, exposes the eight curated policy monitors. Both let an AI assistant read and search the data directly in a chat. Claude, the Gemini CLI and Mistral connect today with a key; ChatGPT connects to the Brubru MCP via OAuth, and OAuth for the Monitors MCP is coming.
How do I get an API key?
Access is by API key. For the Monitor API, email hello@beresol.eu with the monitors you need and your expected volume, and Beresol will issue a key and set up a commercial licence that fits. For the Brubru EU Data API, mint a key and top up at https://brubru.beresol.eu/api.
Is the API free to use?
No. Access is commercial and every request requires a valid API key. The Monitor API is licensed per client with redistribution rights and rate limits that suit your use; the Brubru EU Data API is metered against a prepaid balance.
